Jakub Petrovic joined Veeam nearly two years ago, bringing a wealth of IT experience and a passion for technology. Having used Veeam products in previous roles, Jakub was drawn to the company’s reputation for reliability and innovation. “When I got the interview invitation, I thought, ‘It’s a company with a solid product. Why not try it?" Jakub recalls.

How can you grow your career with Veeam?

Jakub’s journey at Veeam has been powered by adaptability and continuous learning. Starting as an engineer focused on cloud products, Jakub’s role evolved alongside the company’s strategic shift to Veeam Data Cloud (VDC). “My team moved between projects, but we always focused on the cloud. Now, we’re making sure VDC works for our customers,” Jakub explains.

The fast-paced environment at Veeam fuels Jakub’s growth. “I like to be challenged and do something interesting. There’s always something new to learn and adapt to as the company grows,” he share.

Jakub thrives in the collaborative and innovative culture at Veeam. The team’s open environment encourages sharing ideas and driving change. “We just had a retrospective where we saw how many improvements came from our team members’ ideas. We can really influence how things work here,” Jakub notes.

We have really smart people on our team. It’s motivating to work with colleagues who bring different perspectives. We push each other to learn and improve.
