Inside Sales Representative at Veeam Bucharest

Uncapped Commissions in a Fast-Growing Bucharest Sales Team

Loredana Stoica spent a decade building a sales career across different industries before joining Veeam Bucharest as an Inside Sales Representative covering Africa.

During her interview process, she met a senior saleswoman whose confidence and success stayed with her. "The interview with her was the one that inspired me, because I appreciate very much women who are successful and smart, and she fit both of those criteria. After that interview, I was one hundred percent sure I wanted the job, because it seemed like a place where I could learn to be like her."

She describes that conversation in specific terms. "She was very smart, very confident, she obviously has a great career, and the way she talked, the way she acted, the questions she asked me, and the way she challenged me during the interview, it was a ten out of ten."

New to the sales team, Loredana is already handling live deals in one of Veeam's growth markets, and finding the kind of support that convinced her to join in the first place.

What Do New Inside Sales Representatives Learn First at Veeam Bucharest?

There's a lot to learn in the first few months, especially when it comes to understanding Veeam's approach to data resilience and Data and AI Trust, but Loredana has trainers, resources, and teammates behind her the whole way.

"It's a lot of information, a lot of processes, and a lot of advice, because every person handles their job a certain way, and since we're different people, we all have different ways of doing things."

That same openness to learning shows up in what she's choosing to build beyond the basics. "You can learn to become very adaptable. You can learn how to become more assertive, but not in a negative way. You can learn how to guide people who aren't sure yet, without impacting them negatively. Sometimes customers need what you're offering, they just don't know it, so it's also part of your job to make yourself clear. But working with people is always a learning experience."

How Does an Inside Sales Representative Make an Impact at Veeam?

For Loredana, impact means protecting what keeps a business running: its data, its systems, and the people who depend on both. That is the foundation of data resilience, and increasingly, Data and AI Trust.

"Companies really do suffer when they don't have backups. The losses that can occur can be significant, not just financially, but for their name and their employees too. It impacts people on multiple levels. This is why I like to think of myself as offering a solution that makes their lives easier, and makes their lives better."

What Is the Sales Team Culture Like at Veeam Bucharest?

Veeam is a certified Great Place to Work across more than 20 countries, and for Loredana, that’s driven by our people:

"Your colleagues are always there to support you, and you're never alone."

During a busy stretch of the quarter, Loredana needed a hand with something tricky. She reached out to a colleague on Teams, and Sebastian logged in specially to help her, took a look at her screen, and walked her through it the process.

Company-wide sales kickoffs bring together hundreds of colleagues from across the wider team, a chance for Loredana to put faces to names.

I don't know everyone yet, just faces I've seen around the office, so it's going to be a good chance to actually meet people and feel like part of the bigger team.

What Does the Commission Structure Look Like for Sales at Veeam?

"In my last company, commission was capped at 135 percent, and anything extra rolled into the next quarter. Here, a colleague hit over 200 percent in a single quarter, which is incredible, not just for the result itself but for what it means for your bank account."

That structure changes how she approaches every quarter from day one. "If you know your earning potential has no limit, you're motivated from day one of the quarter. The more you bring in, the more you take home. It's constant motivation."

How Does Veeam Bucharest Support Time Away From Work?

VeeaMe Day gives the entire company a synchronized day off, four times a year, so people can properly disconnect rather than staying half-logged-in while colleagues keep working around them. That's rare in sales, where the workday doesn't always stop just because the calendar says it should. It's already one of Loredana's favorite parts of the job, and she's planning her next one already.

"I'm thinking about going to Gdansk for my next Veeam Day."

Outside of work, her routine is unhurried by design: long walks with her dog while listening to a podcast, calling her parents, trying new coffee shops, the occasional cooking session, and travel whenever she can fit it in.

Why Join Veeam Bucharest as an Inside Sales Representative?

Veeam Bucharest gives new salespeople real deals to work on early, colleagues who offer specific, practical advice rather than vague encouragement, and a commission structure with genuinely no ceiling. It's a place where being new doesn't mean being alone, and where the people who convince you to join tend to be the same people who help you succeed once you're there. Go fearlessly forward.
