About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to support commercial and technology-related legal matters, with a primary focus on SaaS and software licensing contracts. This role is well suited for a lawyer at an early stage of their career who wants to grow in an in-house, business-oriented legal function.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
  • Support contract lifecycle management and internal approval processes
  • Assist senior legal counsel with ongoing commercial and regulatory matters
  • Identify legal risks and suggest practical, business-focused solutions
  • Work closely with sales, product, and business teams

What You’ll Bring

  • Law degree (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent)
  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent qualification)
  • 1+ year of relevant legal experience
  • Basic understanding of SaaS, software licensing, and commercial contracts
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with templates
  • Good communication skills and commercial mindset
  • Professional working proficiency in English; other languages are an advantage

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with international contracts
  • Basic knowledge of data protection (e.g. GDPR)
  • Prior in-house or technology sector experience
