About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to support commercial and technology-related legal matters, with a primary focus on SaaS and software licensing contracts. This role is well suited for a lawyer at an early stage of their career who wants to grow in an in-house, business-oriented legal function.

What You’ll Do

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
Support contract lifecycle management and internal approval processes
Assist senior legal counsel with ongoing commercial and regulatory matters
Identify legal risks and suggest practical, business-focused solutions
Work closely with sales, product, and business teams

What You’ll Bring

Law degree (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent)
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent qualification)
1+ year of relevant legal experience
Basic understanding of SaaS, software licensing, and commercial contracts
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with templates
Good communication skills and commercial mindset
Professional working proficiency in English; other languages are an advantage

Bonus Skills

Experience with international contracts
Basic knowledge of data protection (e.g. GDPR)
Prior in-house or technology sector experience
