About the role

This role contributes to the delivery of high-quality technical enablement classes and collateral, as well as learning tools that will allow you to be at the forefront of data resiliency including cloud, virtualization, applications, security and AI for the modern enterprise. You will have the opportunity to obtain industry-related certifications, Veeam Certified Professional (VMCE), Veeam Certified Architect (VMCE-ADO), soft-skills training, coaching, professional development, and much more.  

  

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Veeam systems engineer leadership, product management, content development, as well as others, to help with the design and delivery of technical enablement programs for all internal technical roles 
  • Deliver classroom training and certification programs 
  • Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam’s products and all underlying technologies.  
  • Create and deliver new enablement sessions aligned with the global and geo strategies  
  • Consistently share successes, best practices, and expertise across the technical community 
  • Engage peer organizations internally, as well as externally, to resolve customer issues 
  • Foster, the adoption of technologies, methods, and processes, to advance communication capabilities 
  • Define measurement and metrics and report on business impact with leadership.  
  • Help drive constant incremental improvement across the organization 
  • Implement new delivery methods and techniques to keep your audiences engaged  
  • Periodically analyze business requirements and identify training gaps  
  • Create new content that includes how-to videos, workshops and labs, on-boarding programs, product presentations for internal and external audiences usable for ILT and on demand self-paced 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years or equivalent experience in information technology  
  • 5+ years of experience delivering technical trainings 
  • 5+ years of curriculum development and training experience building technical training programs in the IT or software industry 
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% of your time, including some international travel 
  • Highly experienced (Subject Matter Expert) in at least one high growth technical discipline  
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills 
  • Strong presentation skills in both business and technical areas 
  • Demonstrated and verified strong customer and partner relationships 
  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference for engineering or computer science 
  • Experience with creating or assisting in “train the trainer” programs with measurement and metrics 
  • Experience rolling out certification programs  
  • Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn complex systems quickly 
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage a global team  
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter 
  • Working knowledge/expertise using salesforce.com, building dashboards, reports, and leveraging LMS tools 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Hands-on experience with data protection technologies (preferable Veeam) 
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization environments (preferable vSphere) 
  • Good understanding of compute, networking and storage technologies 
  • Good understanding of cloud computing 
  • Ability to understand and write scripts  

 

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in previous roles in technical pre-sales, post-sales or operations 
  • Experience in or a strong understanding of data protection industry is preferred  
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize across many projects and initiatives 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization and a cross-functional team environment 
  • Strong customer/partner relationship skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment 
  • Strength as a self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision 
  • The ability to articulate the business values of our technologies  
  • Experience with at least one hyperscaler (relevant certifications help) 
  • Experience with IaaC tools (preferable Terraform and Ansible) 
  • Experience with Articulate Rise 360 or similar tools  
  • Fluency in English
