About the Role

QA Automation Engineer is a key role in the Integrations team under the Corporate Technology umbrella. In this role, you will work closely with systems analysts, development team and other QA team members. You are expected to work with use cases, build new test cases, look at the existing test cases, build test automations, perform load testing, stress testing. You need to have knowledge of Java, SQL, Rest APIs, frameworks like Junit, TestNG and tools like POSTMAN, SOAPUI etc. You are expected to analyze the technical specs, use cases to come up with various test case scenarios. You will work in Agile framework and are expected to communicate updates with development team and team leads.

This role is remote within the US, but we are prioritizing candidates based in Eastern time for team alignment.

What You’ll Do

  • Developing and implementing testing strategies for software products
  • Developing automated tests for integration and functional scenarios
  • Developing and improving current automation tools
  • Maintaining test documentation
  • Validating tests and scenarios written by other testers
  • Conducting test cycles using functional, integration, and load testing.
  • Evaluating test results, preparing reports, and making suggestions for quality improvement
  • Analyzing results, increasing test coverage, participating in development, and implementing new approaches to product testing
  • Participating in root cause analysis and debugging 

What You’ll Bring

  • API understanding and testing: REST, SOAP, Swagger, Postman
  • Knowledge of networking: HTTP/HTTPS, request/response cycles and status codes
  • Knowledge of  Java, SQL, Relational Databases
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Selenium; API testing experience
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools: TestNG, JUnit etc.
  • Knowledge of relational database operation
  • Experience in load testing, stress testing
  • Experience in working with large volumes of data and data quality testing
  • An understanding of the differences between various types of testing
  • The ability to support all the QA processes in the team independently
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer

  • Experience with Salesforce and MuleSoft would be a strong advantage

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
