About the Role

As a QA Engineer focused on Salesforce, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex, integrated system. You’ll work across teams to design effective testing strategies, uncover root causes of issues, and improve overall product quality. This role combines hands-on testing with analytical thinking and close collaboration with developers and business analysts.

 

This role is remote within the US, but we are prioritizing candidates based in Eastern time for team alignment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute end-to-end and integration test scenarios across multiple system components  
  • Analyze defects and identify patterns to uncover underlying system issues  
  • Develop test strategies and test cases for complex business logic and workflows  
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align on testing approaches and quality standards  
  • Lead testing efforts for integration and end-to-end validation across systems  
  • Manage defect lifecycle including triage, prioritization, and clear communication of issues 

Technologies You’ll Work With

  • Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud), SQL / SOQL, REST API (Postman or similar API testing tools), Test management tools (TestRail), CI/CD tools (Jenkins) 

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, including 2+ years working with Salesforce applications 
  • Strong understanding of test design techniques and risk-based testing approaches  
  • Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, reports) 
  • Solid experience with defect management, including severity and priority assessment  
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and web services (REST)  
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly  
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development process 

Bonus Skills

  • Salesforce certifications
  • Background working in regulated environments (such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates  
  • Experience testing complex integrations across multiple systems  
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture and customization (Apex, flows, etc.)
  • Experience with automated testing tools (Java) or frameworks

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
