As the Channel Marketing Manager – Canada, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing partner marketing programs that drive awareness, demand, and pipeline through our focus partner, and alliance ecosystem. You will work closely with regional sales, partner account managers, and global marketing teams to localize initiatives and ensure they resonate with the Canadian market.
The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement across various distribution channels. This role requires a deep understanding of channel dynamics, partner relationships, and customer needs to create effective marketing programs that enhance brand visibility and support channel partners in achieving their sales goals.
This role should work in lock step within the region with the Canada Director of Marketing understanding how the channel supports the Enterprise and Volume marketing plans and leveraging Alliance and channel MDF to support and expand the presence of the channel in Canada and drive pipeline and new business for Enterprise and Volume Segments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute quarterly partner marketing plans aligned with revenue goals and sales priorities
- Build and manage co-marketing programs with key partners, MSPs, distributors, and alliance partners
- Localize and amplify global campaigns to suit the Canadian market, ensuring cultural and regional relevance
- Collaborate with the field marketing, digital, and product marketing teams to create campaign assets, joint messaging, and enablement tools
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Manage MDF (Marketing Development Funds) allocations and ensure compliance with program requirements
- Represent Canada in global channel marketing forums and share regional insights
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in channel, partner, or field marketing within the B2B tech or SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of the Canadian IT channel landscape, including VARs, distributors, and alliances
- Proven experience running successful joint marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Experience using Salesforce, marketing automation (e.g., Marketo), and partner portals
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required
