About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Systems Engineer to partner closely with our sales organization in driving technical excellence across the customer journey. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about translating complex data protection solutions into clear business value.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will influence customers, partners, and internal stakeholders by aligning technical architectures with business outcomes and accelerating revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver compelling live and virtual technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and partners.
  • Translate customer business objectives into scalable technical solutions aligned with Veeam’s portfolio.
  • Conduct configuration reviews and provide proactive technical guidance on data protection best practices.
  • Support the full technical sales cycle, partnering with Account Managers to drive successful deal closure.
  • Manage assigned accounts at a technical level to identify expansion opportunities and optimize deployments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Support, Licensing, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Transform product-based selling conversations into customer-centric, outcome-driven engagements.
  • Map technical requirements to measurable business impact.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and account activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Continuously adapt to territory demands while managing priorities effectively.

  • (Nice to have) Linux & Kubernetes (K8s)

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4+ years of experience in technical presales required, solution engineering required, post-sales, or technical support roles.
  • Trilingual written and verbal communication skills (Spanish, English and Portuguese). Must be fluent in the 3 languages. 
  • Office attendance required 3 days per week.
  • Strong expertise in data protection and backup technologies.
  • Foundational knowledge of storage, networking, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Exposure to enterprise application workloads and modernization initiatives.
