About the role:

The Associate Partner Manager is responsible for the alignment, enablement, development, and performance of the channel partners in their territory. Understanding Veeam’s sales engines – SMB, Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector and aligning the partners to the Veeam Client Executives & Account Managers of those respective sales engines;  Thorough understanding of Veeam’s solutions and how to articulate the business value to partners and customers.    

**Due to business needs, candidates need to reside in either Montreal or Toronto**

What you'll do:

  • The Associate Partner Manager collaborates with our inside/field sales team and CR partners, selling the company's products and services within an assigned territory virtually. May utilize calls, video, e-mail and other electronic sales techniques in support of the calling effort. 
  • Achieving revenue targets and goals for the territory
  • The Associate Partner Manager must develop executive-level, sales and technical relationships within the resellers (CRs), distributors, and key Alliance OEMs within the territory
  • Collaboration with Sales team in the development and execution of territory plan(s) for territory growth, enablement and alignment, and engagement plan with partner ecosystem 
  • Recruiting, training, and enabling Channel partners (CRs and distributors) with the focus on all aspects of the business (SMB / Commercial / SLED/ Enterprise) to drive growth
  • Working closely with Veeam Client Executives, Account Managers and Channel partners on closing all Deals within the territory, as required 

 What you'll bring:

  • Proven track record of successful selling with or through the Channel Partner ecosystems into all types of accounts, Commercial (SMB, Commercial, Enterprise) and Government/Public Sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and time management
  • Bilingual (French and English-speaking is a strong plus)
  • A flexible personality to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills 
  • Tenacious and aggressive “hunter” mentality 
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (A combination of education and experience will be considered.) 
  • Sales experience in relevant technology industries a plus 
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time across the country

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, and skills. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
