About the Role

Are you passionate about quality and eager to make an impact on products used by customers worldwide? The Veeam Software Testing team is looking for a QA Engineer in Romania to join our Corporate Technology department, focusing on the Customer Portal.  

What You’ll Do

  • Perform quality assurance and validation of product changes and new features 
  • Process and test requests received from the support team 
  • Develop, validate, and continuously improve test scenarios and checklists 
  • Conduct functional, integration and regression testing 
  • Work closely with web applications and their architecture, system components and data flows 
  • Analyze test results, identify areas for increasing test coverage, and introduce new approaches to testing 
  • Document defects clearly and accurately, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues 
  • Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on product quality 

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical education or a strong passion for technology 
  • 3+ years of experience testing web applications and integrations 
  • Solid understanding of software testing theory and best practices 
  • Broad technical outlook and analytical thinking 
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams (ability to work with technical documentation and log defects in English) 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working with 3rd-line technical support or troubleshooting complex issues 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments 
  • CRM and enterprise systems: Salesforce 
  • Test case design and management: TestRail 
  • Defect and bug reporting/tracking: Atlassian JIRA 
  • SQL and database management tools: DBeaver, phpMyAdmin 
  • API testing tools: Postman, Apidog
