About the Role

Are you passionate about quality and eager to make an impact on products used by customers worldwide? The Veeam Software Testing team is looking for a QA Engineer in Romania to join our Corporate Technology department, focusing on the Customer Portal.

What You’ll Do

Perform quality assurance and validation of product changes and new features
Process and test requests received from the support team
Develop, validate, and continuously improve test scenarios and checklists
Conduct functional, integration and regression testing
Work closely with web applications and their architecture, system components and data flows
Analyze test results, identify areas for increasing test coverage, and introduce new approaches to testing
Document defects clearly and accurately, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on product quality

What You’ll Bring

Technical education or a strong passion for technology
3+ years of experience testing web applications and integrations
Solid understanding of software testing theory and best practices
Broad technical outlook and analytical thinking
English proficiency for daily communication within international teams (ability to work with technical documentation and log defects in English)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Skills

Experience working with 3rd-line technical support or troubleshooting complex issues
Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments
CRM and enterprise systems: Salesforce
Test case design and management: TestRail
Defect and bug reporting/tracking: Atlassian JIRA
SQL and database management tools: DBeaver, phpMyAdmin
API testing tools: Postman, Apidog
