The People Services team plays a key role in driving our day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. With high attention to detail and a strong customer services mindset, our Senior Manager, People Services EMEA manages the day-to-day operations of our People Services Team in Europe and acts as a right-hand person and deputy to the Senior Director, People Services, Technology and Data. The role plays a critical role in the development and enhancement of self-service HR solutions, as well as the integrity, quality, and accuracy of HR data. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, drive continuous improvement, and employee empowerment through digital HR tools. This position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, Legal and Compliance teams, Corporate Technology (IT) and payroll teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the regional People Services team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant HR transaction processing (i.e. hire to retire lifecycle)
  • Mentor and develop People Services staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Build strong partnerships with regional HRBPs, Payroll, Corporate Technology, and external vendors.
  • Regularly review and inspect service delivery KPIs and make suggestions for process improvements
  • Act as a subject matter expert for process optimization.
  • Evaluate, implement, and enhance employee and manager self-service tools, ensuring usability and accessibility across EMEA.
  • Promote adoption of self-service by delivering communication, training, and support materials.
  • Monitor usage data and feedback, providing insights for further service improvements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation to drive efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Lead or participate in global/regional HR projects, particularly those impacting employee experience, compliance and data management.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance practices, ensuring HR master data is accurate, secure, and compliant with regional regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Drive periodic data audits, root cause analyses for data errors, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure operational processes adhere to local employment laws, company policies, and controls
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to review changes in legislation and implement process updates as needed. 

Qualifications 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with Workday (Hire to Retire) are a must
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Knowledge of European employment laws and HR best practices
  • A service-first mindset and passion for creating a positive employee experience
  • Ability to solve problems methodically and strategically
  • Strong ability to build relationships across the wider People & Culture function and the wider business
