As a Specialist, Paid Media, you will play a crucial role in planning, negotiating, and purchasing advertising space to promote the organization's products or services. This role involves analyzing vendor landscape and building relations with key media outlets in the industry in different markets as well as manage agency relationship in the field of paid media, identifying target audiences, and optimizing media campaigns to achieve maximum reach and impact. The Specialist, Paid Media will collaborate with internal teams, media agency and media vendors to ensure effective and cost-efficient media placements.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media plans in line with marketing objectives and target audience demographics. 
  • Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to inform media buying strategies. 
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum ROAS. 
  • Provide regular reporting on budget utilization and campaign performance. 
  • Audience Targeting: 
  • Utilize data and analytics to optimize audience targeting and reach. 
  • Work closely with Campaigns team to align media strategies with overall marketing goals. 
  • Team up with agency and media vendors to ensure smooth execution of campaigns 
  • Collaborate with regional teams to insure regional input is taken into account 
  • Provide input on creative elements to optimize performance. 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. 
  • Make adjustment to BI dashboards to ensure data is correct and up to date 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new media opportunities, and emerging technologies. 
  • Share insights and recommendations with the team to enhance overall marketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field. 
  • Proven experience (1+ year) in media buying, preferably in an advertising agency or corporate setting. 
  • Understanding of media buying trends and market dynamics. 
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and software. 
  • Excellent analytical skills. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
