The HR Manager - Poland will play a key role in informing and executing people strategies across our operations in Poland. As the local HR lead, you will serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related matters, supporting the brilliant execution of people initiatives while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of the local employment landscape and the ability to translate global HR strategy into impactful, country-specific execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Local Labour Legislation Advisor: Advise people managers and Business Aligned HRBPs on local labour laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Compliance Custodian: Lead the implementation of HR policies and procedures at the country level and ensure compliance with local requirements.
- Employee Relations: Partner with Employee Relations to manage complex employee relations cases and investigations fairly and consistently.
- People Manager Support: Act as the first point of contact for People Managers, supporting recurring employee life-cycle activities, including annual compensation reviews, performance ratings, data, hiring, and relocation activities.
- Global Program Implementation: Implement global People & Culture programs and initiatives for local teams, driving employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
- HR KPIs Monitoring: Monitor and report on HR KPIs, trends, and risks.
- HR Administration: Handle HR administration tasks, including processing new hires, promotions, transfers, and benefits administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Polish labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
- Progressive HR experience with the ability to work in a widely-spread international team.
- Experience in a matrixed or multinational organisation is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English and Polish.
- Experience with HRIS (Workday advantageous).
- Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience dealing with immigration/visa transfers is an advantage.
