The Manager, Marketing Events EMEA is responsible for partnering with key Sales and Marketing stakeholders to understand priorities and objectives and deliver exceptional end-user events across the region. Operating within Veeam’s fast-paced, high-growth environment, this role is critical to executing a calendar of high-profile events. The ideal candidate will balance high energy, experience and attention to detail, ensuring every event meets Veeam’s world-class standards.

 

Key Priorities

Managing Industry Events:

Lead the planning, execution, and on-site management of Veeam’s participation in major industry events across the EMEA region, ensuring a seamless and impactful presence.

 

Providing Guidance to Field Marketing:

Serve as a trusted advisor to Field Marketing teams by offering best practices, resources, and support for Veeam-hosted events, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate standards.

 

Reporting and Measurement:

Track, analyse, and report on event outcomes and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.

 

Event Giveaways & Storage

Coordinate with suppliers and storage partners to manage event giveaways and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to event locations.

 

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline event processes, implement efficiencies, and adopt new tools or methods to enhance event planning and execution.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience coordinating a high volume of events in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM & Marketing tools.
  • Collaborative and effective working style across teams, cultures, and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within EMEA as required.
