Reporting to the Senior Vice President of EMEA, the Regional Vice President is responsible for the proposition and execution of Sales and Marketing activity within their designated region, to develop the company’s activity with end customers and working with channel partners to leverage business. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing their team and coordinating all necessary supporting activities.

Your tasks will include:

  • Fully accountable for executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in the region across all segments
  • Proposes, drives and executes business plan to achieve sales targets with the team.
  • Leads a multi-functional team with direct reports and indirect functional/support resources.
  • Leads the sales teams and inspiring high performance by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance across the region to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities.
  • Establishes performance metrics; addresses and corrects performance deficiencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare forecasts, growth plans and regional strategy
  • Propose, drive and execute business to overachieve sales targets with the team
  • Participate at regional marketing and media events as regional high-level speaker
  • Support quotation and proposal efforts with partners, prospects and customers and build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs
  • Ability to travel 0 - 75% of the time within the assigned territory/region requirements.

What we expect from you:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent required (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Exceptional experience within Enterprise software sales, with proven ability in sales management
  • Competencies in driving sales through a network of partners in a two-tier distribution model.
  • Mastery level understanding of Cloud Services knowledge (servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence), benefits, trends and competitors.
  • Proven track record of driving sales teams and consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives.
  • Builds strong partnerships and results with marketing colleagues to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Proven record of managing multi-cultural teams in a matrix environment.
  • Established and proven relationships with CIOs of top enterprise accounts.
  • Business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach.
  • Knowledge of large distributors and value added resellers (VAR’s) is highly desired.
  • Experience in the virtualization industry.
  • Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) system: Salesforce knowledge is desired.
