As a Sales Specialist for Veeam Data Cloud M365 (VB365/Cirrus), you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and market adoption of Veeam’s SaaS offerings for Microsoft 365. You will partner closely with Account Executives (AEs), Solution Engineers, and Microsoft to deliver strategic sales initiatives, increase pipeline velocity, and help customers realize the value of modern data protection in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure foundational sales metrics are met across the VB365/Cirrus business, including pipeline coverage, CRM hygiene, and timely deal updates.
- Collaborate daily with Account Executives in your assigned territory to support joint account planning and execution.
- Prepare for and lead customer-facing meetings and demos to position the VB365/Cirrus solution and move opportunities forward.
- Build and execute close plans to improve win rates and shorten sales cycles for VB365/Cirrus opportunities.
- Coordinate with Solution Engineers to align technical expertise with customer requirements at each stage of the sales cycle.
- Manage the co-sell process with Microsoft in your territory, ensuring alignment with Microsoft sellers and achievement of co-sell goals.
- Provide weekly territory-level forecast updates specific to VB365/Cirrus, including insights on key deals and risks.
- Ensure top opportunities are actively pursued with the right mix of Field Sales and Specialist resources.
- Identify and document repeatable sales tactics that lead to successful outcomes and help refine a scalable “win formula.”
Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, cloud, or IT infrastructure sales (Microsoft ecosystem experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a solution-selling environment.
- Experience working in co-sell or partner-led sales motions with Microsoft or similar cloud providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Veeam products, especially VB365/Cirrus.
- Prior experience working with channel partners and system integrators.
- Technical acumen to understand and articulate backup and data protection concepts.
