The Inside Channel/Partner Manager is responsible for the alignment, enablement, and performance of the partners in their territory. Understanding Veeam’s go-to-market (Sales Segmentation) and where there are synergies with the Partners to obtain more opportunity for growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough understanding of Veeam’s solutions and how to articulate their business value to partners and customers.   
  • Inside Partner Manager should also have some Technology Sales, Channel/Partner Management, and/or Channel Sales experience.
  • The Inside Partner Manager collaborates with our inside/field sales team and partners, selling the company's products and services within an assigned territory via the telephone.
  • May utilize e-mail and other electronic sales techniques in support of the calling effort.
  • Achieving revenue targets and goals for the territory.
  • The Inside Partner Manager must develop executive-level relationships, sales and technical relationships within the resellers (VARs), distributors, and key Alliance OEMs within the territory.
  • Collaboration with Sales team in the development and execution of territory plan(s) for territory growth, enablement and alignment, and engagement plan with partner ecosystem.
  • Recruiting, training and enabling Channel partners (VARs and distributors) with the focus on all aspects of run rate business (SMB / Commercial / SLED/ Enterprise).
  • Working closely with Veeam Territory Managers, Inside Account Managers and Channel partners on closing all Deals within the territory, as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
  • 4+ years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience of high-tech products/services is preferred with or through the Channel Partner ecosystems
  • Experience driving the sales process across internal and external teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field)
  • Sales experience in relevant industries of backup, cloud, data center a plus
  • Ability to pick up new technology concepts
  • Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern Experience with Veeam Alliance Partners
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups
