The Senior HR Business Partner will be an experienced, innovative, hands-on and commercially focused to deliver first-class HR service for a defined business group. The HR Business Partner will provide pragmatic HR solutions to achieve business goals and to build a high performing organisation, ensuring rigor, consistency and discipline to driving business performance. The key responsibilities will include:

  • First point of contact for employees and managers for a defined business group advising on all people matters, raising potential risks and challenges to the attention of business leaders and the HR Regional Leader
  • Coach, support and guide senior managers in the pragmatic application of HR policies and practices
  • Proactively assess business/ functional group team, manager and organizational development needs and partner with the Talent Management function to make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Partner with Regional / Market HRBP with performance management review and address improvements and any employment relations issues
  • Ensure proper implementation and execution of Regional / Global HR programs in collaboration with the wider HR team
  • Collaborate with Regional / Market HRBP, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure hiring plan is delivered on time with business outcomes
  • Interview candidates in the process of recruitment for leadership positions, key roles or upon request from Business / Functional Leader
  • Other ad hoc HR duties

Job Requirements:

It is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate commercial awareness and business acumen to ensure the right level of support and solutions to the business. You will be able to communicate at all levels within the organisation. Evidence of responsibility to deliver a first-class HR service in a fast-moving team, within a highly matrixed company across multiple countries is key.

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role, operating independently and as part of a team within a highly matrix organisational structure
  • Solid judgment and ability to assess risk relative to the business impact
  • Understanding of EU employment law related to employee matters to achieve business outcomes, pan-EMEA / International experience is desirable
  • Experience in project delivery and change management initiatives
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action making
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers to strategically solve problems
  • Fluent in English. Other European language – speaking, reading and writing desirable
  • Pragmatic consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
