Veeam is seeking a field marketing manager with established experience in driving multi-touch marketing activities across South Eastern Europe. The Field Marketing Manager will report to the Field Marketing Director and will work closely with the local sales stakeholders to support the growth of sales pipeline and market share of Veeam’s business in these areas.
The Field Marketing Manager will partnership with the regional field, Inside and channel sales to execute against local objectives whilst working to the broader global strategy of strengthening Veeam’s position in the market. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a mature team within a successful and ambitious software vendor.
Job Function and Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a counterpart with Country leader in creating and executing growth strategy.
- Develop, elevate & execute with the team a quarterly local strategic GTM plan to achieve and support sales growth objectives in line with : Regional Marketing budget, company priorities, local market expectation, compelling event and the country GTM sales.
- Set up a programmatic and measurable marketing mix – Veeam and Channel led (to/thru distris, VARs, VCSPs)- based on historical data and expected ROI, reflecting Customer buying journey, leveraging Veeam messaging & key assets and partnering with our Ecosystem (Alliances, SI) to support all our segments (Enterprise, Commercial, Velocity)
- Execute campaigns targeting various account types, audiences (EDM, TDM) & personas to drive engagement in segments : Online & offline events, digital campaigns, Telemarketing, ABM programs (1:Many, 1:few, 1:1), Vertical programs, Channel/ Alliances activities - as part of nurturing and integrated approach to deliver a seamless and customer-centric experience.
- Develop net new creative tactics depending on the segmentation and the needs
- Build and maintain close collaboration with Sales both inside/ field - Work hand to hand, understand the needs, the expectations and agree on a joint plan to accelerate market penetration
- Establish strong relationships with our ecosystem : Top resellers, Distributors/aggregators, VCSPs , Alliances and SI and deliver joint activities to complement the market reach and according to the local focus and priorities.
- Align with other supporting marketing functions Social Media, Customer reference, Demand Center, Email team, MOPS and Finance.
- Generate, track, monitor Marketing signals and get the best campaigns efficiency with proven ROI (including Channel) and hit pipeline KPI – working very closely with our SDR teams and adjust programs as necessary
- Analyze KPI attainment for future marketing investment decisions - Understand GC pipeline logic & campaign attribution model, track pipeline results thru meaningful dashboards and identify best sources of pipeline creation depending on the targeted audiences & personas
- Work with our PR team and PR agency to ensure a good press coverage and identify appropriate press opportunities to increase awareness of Veeam.
- Manage quarterly budgeting and reforecasting
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a B2B technology provider
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment, cross-functional team environment
- Understanding of the roles played by alliance partners, System Integrators, distributors, Channel partners and Cloud services providers
- Ability to define marketing objectives, track and evaluate results
- Experience in working with agencies and suppliers
- Knowledge in Data protection/ cyber security market, Microsoft & AWS technologies and Kubernetes environment will be a plus.
- Ability to assist in multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing time and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic
- Speaks and writes English fluently
