Bert, a Senior Territory Manager Cloud, at Veeam in Rotterdam, takes to the sky as a private pilot and flight instructor. He puts his passion for flying to good use with Veeam Cares, our social responsibility program.

“At Hilversum Airfield, there’s an initiative called ‘Wings for All’. Once a year, we take children with physical or mental disabilities up in the air. I’ve volunteered two years running now. I sponsor the flights and Veeam sponsors the hours for me to do this.”

The irony isn’t lost on Bert. “I sell cloud solutions to customers. But taking the children up is an incomparable cloud experience!”
