SE/PreSales Manager (UK and Eire)

Job Description:

At Veeam, SE Managers work closely with management and the regional sales teams, managing presales team in their Region to support Veeam company sales objectives and ensuring proper resource allocation, training,  career growth, day to day support, and the development of the presales team.

Responsibilities

Job Functions:

Primary job function will be to manage technical resources across a wide geographic area and will include the following:

  • Day to day team management
  • Supporting Sales at key large enterprise customers
  • Active participation to key marketing events
  • Hiring of SE's within the region
  • Coordinate resource allocation
  • Reporting and tracking of pre-sales activities
  • Adapting SE competencies and organization to the company sales strategy

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrable technical team management experience
  • Deliver regular pre-sales support to regional sales force
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the availability and data protection markets both in cloud and Enterprise level environments
  • Virtualization technical knowledge including VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment
  • Understanding requirements of an indirect sales model with a direct touch approach
  • Providing regular technical training to the entire sales team.
