Sales Manager- Territory Sales- Benelux

Job Description: The Sales Manager, Territory Sales will be responsible for developing/closing business through a team of Territory Managers across their territory within Commercial and Public Sector accounts through working closely with the partner sales community. The primary focus is aimed at achieving the target quota through closing sales opportunities through the territory team and is achieved by collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and ultimately close transactions

Responsibilities

Job Functions:

  • Manage Territory Managers who are focused across geographic commercial and public sector territories
  • Role is target focused
  • Mentor, coach and develop all territory managers
  • Close business through the Territory Managers in order that each individual achieves and exceeds targets
  • Drive close integration with the Territory and internal team based externally the territory
  • Leverage partners and develop relationships to close sales with their end customers
  • Drive Cold calling to develop sales activities with a large number of new commercial and public sector account customers
  • Drive up-sell and cross-sell to the existing Commercial & Public Sector customer base
  • Provide accurate opportunity forecasting in Sales Force and to management
  • Plan and drive day to day activity with team
  • Participate in marketing activities across the territories driven through the TM team

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with vendors associated to Virtualization technology is a plus
  • Successful track record of personal sales and sales management
  • 5 year experience of mid-market to enterprise software sales, selling through channel and direct
  • 3 years minimum people management experience, driving sales teams
  • Successful track record selling in the Commercial & Public Sector
  • Proven ability to develop teams to build net new sales
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory
