Partner Manager

The Partner Manager is responsible for selling Veeam products by recruiting, training and enabling channel partners.  The Partner Manager must develop executive-level relationships with resellers (VARs), distributors, alliance partners and large virtual customers within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute partner plans to achieve revenue targets and goals for the territory
  • Recruiting, training and enabling the channel partners within a specified territory
  • Build and Leverage executive channel partner relationships
  • Managing relationships in a highly leveraged, matrixed environment
  • Working closely with Veeam account managers and channel partners to drive sales
  • Working closely with VMware, Microsoft, HP, Cisco, NetApp and other eco-system product managers
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)
  • Successful sales experience with channel-focused company
  • Sales experience with Hybrid Data Center technology, experience with VMware, Microsoft HPE, EMC, Netapp, Nimble, etc. a plus

Qualifications

  • 5 + years experience in software sales and channel sales enablment (preferrably data protection software solution visability)
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales quota and building channel partners sales
  • Ability to build and leverage industry relationships to drive channel partner success
  • Creativity and perseverance for solving problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter

• Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

  • Work from home
  • Ability to travel 50%-70% of the time within assigned territory
