Manager Channels


This role is responsible for setting out the management and resource plans for the channel for Veeam in the territory, aligning channel focused resources in line with overall EMEA direction ensuring appropriate partner coverage to deliver the revenue targets.   Distribution, Channel, and Hosting Managers report to this role.  This role will provide support to Inside Team Lead to ensure inside channel resource is best utilised and achieving targets.

  • Manage day to day direct reports via team meetings and 1:1s
  • Communicate with wider channel team on a weekly basis tracking any focus areas and goals
  • Liaise with other teams: SE, Territory, Enterprise, Marketing providing support to develop their business through channel resources
  • Deliver channel programs with alliance partners in conjunction with marketing
  • Ensure enablement programs are delivered and effective for the channel
  • Work closely with top partners; ensuring that close collaboration at all levels of the business
  • Recruit channel heads when required
  • Mentor, coach and develop all partner managers, distribution managers and hosting managers in the region


  • 5 years’ successful experience of mid-market to enterprise software sales with channel-focused company
  • 3 years minimum people management experience, driving sales team
  • Proven track record of accomplishment selling in the enterprise, client-server market
  • Proven ability to develop teams to build net new sales
  • Experience with vendors associated to Virtualization technology is a plus
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English and Italian – written and spoken
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel throughout the Italian region
