Enterprise Account Manager

The Enterprise Account Manager role will be responsible for developing, accelerating, up-selling and closing business with new and existing customers of Veeam virtualization backup and replication software. The focus will be in the largest and most strategic named accounts in North America. The Enterprise Account Manager will maintain the highest level of knowledge about Veeam’s solutions and business strategy while being responsible for the successful execution of the respective sales plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical Pre-Sales consultation and support. Own and manage the technical portion of multiple Enterprise accounts
  • Exceed assigned revenue quota and defined objectives
  • Understand and analyze market competition and conditions
  • Provide technical thought leadership both within and outside of Veeam
  • Conduct architectural design reviews and onsite proof of concept engagements
  • Train, persuade and build relationships with Veeam’s partner community
  • Work closely with the sales teams to evangelize, demonstrate, and promote Veeam’s product offerings to partners, resellers, end users and the industry as a whole.
  • Internal Relationships:
  • Sales Reps – strong working relationship needed to build business opportunities and achieve revenue goals
  • Fellow Veeam SEs –knowledge share, collaboration, mentoring
  • External Relationships:
  • Partners – educate, enable, joint client meeting
  •    Clients (potential and existing) – information gathering, trusted advisor              relationship, product demonstrations/POCs, training

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience working in the field requiring substantial travel
  • Significant experience with VMware and Hyper-V
  • Experience with Data Management, Data Analytics and Cloud
  • Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and Operating Systems
  • A proven track record of success (Attitude, Quota Attainment, Activity Levels)
  • Experience managing many technical accounts

Additional skills

  • VMware and HyperV
  • VMware VCP Microsoft MCITP or equivalent
  • VCP Certification
    • Bachelor’sDegree in Business or Technology (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)
    • At least (1) year of experience with Veeam’s Core products
    • Pre-sales or consulting experience
    • Proven success mentoring Engineers
    • Experience presenting to groups: on the phone, online, and in person
