The Director, Systems Engineering - Enterprise is responsible for managing and leading a regional enterprise technical sales team by overseeing sales for new and existing customers of Veeam virtualization backup and replication software. In addition, they will act as a field visionary presenting strategy and roadmap to high value customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a technical team of 5-10 Enterprise Engineers
  • Provide technical thought leadership to internal and external contacts
  • Develop tactics to achieve goals defined by senior leadership
  • Recruits, hires & trains staff; fosters a successful & positive team environment
  • Drives, manages and executes the business and revenue goals
  • Achieving sales objectives

  • Hiring and coaching Engineers

  • Enterprise sales strategy implementation

  • Act as the field visionary and champion for high value customers

  • Work from home and travel 70%

  • Manage a remote team of 5 – 10 Engineers

  • Meet with internal sales teams and external partners and customers

Qualifications

  • Director/Manager experience in an Enterprise Pre-sales or consulting role
  • Proven success mentoring Engineers
  • Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, Operating Systems, Cloud and VMware
  • A proven track record of success (Attitude, Quota Attainment, Activity Levels)
  • Experience managing a large number of technical accounts
  • Experience acting as a Field CTO or visionary presenting strategy and roadmap to high value customers
