The Corporate Reseller Partner Manager is responsible for developing strategy and executable plans to achieve sales objectives by managing a corporate reseller team and relationship from within our named partner framework.  The successful candidate will manage daily sales relationships, partner teams and represent VEEAM in all aspects of business development, marketing and sales within the corporate reseller partners located throughout Canada.(CDW, SHI, SOFTCHOICE, INSIGHT, PC M).

Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships in a highly leverage, matrixed environment
  • Develop and assign goals that are measurable and drive productivity within assigned partner, its operating units and Veeam matrixed teams
  • Drive impactful QBRs with meaningful and measureable action items, as well as follow-up
  • Develop and leverage executive relationships within assigned partner and its operating unit
  • Achieve revenue targets and goals for assigned partner and its operating units
  • Developing and execute partner plan with variable rebates and goals
  • Recruiting, training and enabling assigned partner and its subsidiary sellers with the focus on SMB business

Working closely with VMware, Microsoft, HP and other eco-system product managers to develop cross-partner initiatives, strategies and plans

Key Success Factors:

  • Quota 100% based on revenue growth targets for assigned partner and its subsidiaries
  • Integration into Virtualization practice and go-to-market within the accounts
  • Vertical alignment within the account
  • Regional alignment and growth
  • Execution of national plan and executive relationships

Qualifications

  • Successful sales experience with channel-focused company and 2 tier distributors in North America
  • Proven track record of successful product management within a 2 tier model
  • Proven track record of senior leadership engagement with results oriented communications
  • Knowledge of virtualization technology and leverage within a 2 tier model
  • Ability to manage a virtual team and adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent years of experience

Additional skills

  • Experience with MS SalesForce or another CRM
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
