Cisco Alliance Manager, Germany
The Alliance Manager EMEA for Cisco will be responsible for achieving the revenue goals and strategic objectives of the CISCO Alliance in assigned region. This individual should have an understanding of how to work with CISCO Sales teams, pre sales teams, channel team and any revenue supporting teams in CISCO field sales force. This role is responsible for all aspects of Veeam’s revenue with the assigned area for Enterprise and Small/Medium business whether direct to CISCO or utilizing the CISCO channel. He/She will be a critical part of the strategic alliance relationship and be responsible for accelerating the adoption of Veeam technologies in the market by identifying, classifying and managing relevant, mutually beneficial joint business activities with the goal of achieving the targets.
Approach and build strong relationships with Cisco in the EMEA theatre (Selected Number of Countries)
Create new initiatives that drive product sales and evaluations. Track closure of leads.
Leverage strongly existing initiatives developed by Veeam Global and EMEA Alliances team to Cisco Channel, Sales, and Marketing organizations.
Enable/unblock Veeam sales/business expansion with respect to specific Alliance workloads. Including joint solutions, field enablement, marketing, support, and demand generation
Drive Cisco internal awareness of Veeam in conjunction with Veeam Sales
Scale, manage, and execute set of programmatic Alliance interactions/relationships driving related programs, processes
Work closely with the Veeam EMEA marketing, sales, pre-sales and inside sales teams, and with the Global Alliance team
Partner with Global Alliance Marketing teams to develop and execute joint marketing plans and initiatives with designated Veeam EMEA Marketing Alliance Manager
Past experience working for Cisco, or as Cisco alliance manager is a plus
Understanding of sales and marketing fundamentals: from the strategic to the tactical
Demonstrated experience working in a top enterprise software company in alliances sales.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate external teams to work towards a common goal
Excellent written, oral and customer presentation, influence, and negotiation skills
Creative approach to local partnerships and marketing
General business acumen, MBA a plus
Willing to “roll up sleeves” and focus on the detail, while conversing with partner peers on high level plans
Perfect German and French conduct is mandatory
Excellent English skills as well as an ability to speak/read other European languages will be a differentiator
Ability to travel in Europe for 40% of the week.
