The tax accountant is responsible for performing review of EMEA tax returns, maintaining the global tax calendar, preparation of global quarterly estimated tax payments, tax research and tax planning with supervision. This position also provides work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff. The tax accountant contacts clients to resolve minor tax matters. This role performs tax planning under direct supervision and may be assigned tax in-charge responsibilities
- Reviews annual Corporate Tax Returns
- Manages global Corporate Income Tax service providers
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation of Tax Accounts
- Update transfer pricing agreements and contemporaneous documentation
- Assist with transfer pricing calculations
- Assist with annual tax provisioning
- Fee reporting analysis
- Assist with Withholding Tax Issues
- Keep up-to-date of changing tax laws, reading
- Other misc. projects and ad-hoc duties, as needed
- Strong analytical skills

- Proficient with excel
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proven relevant work experience – strong accountancy skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Chartered Accountant or pursuing Chartered status
- Desire to achieve tax qualification certification
VAT or Corporate Income Tax Experience
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00/9/00 a.m. to 5 /6 p.m. Overtime based on busy periods or to meet deadlines, as needed. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
Minimal travel is expected for this position.
