HR Operations and Compliance Specialist, Americas

Working as part of the Americas HR team with responsibility for USA, this position is responsible for ensuring the HR function are compliant with all HR regulations in the US, supporting the Senior Director - HR Operations and local HR Business Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all regulatory matters within the USA, advising local HR Operations Specialists and HR Business Partners on regulatory matters
  • Create and update all HR Policies, liaising with the Legal team to ensure compliance with state and federal employment law
  • Responsible for submitting all government required filings, such as EEO-1
  • Act as a Project Manager for any new legislation, taking responsibility for ensuring all HR colleagues are fully aware of the legislation and that procedures are in place to remain compliant
  • Ongoing review of HR Operations processes
  • Capture and map out processes as and when required
  • Coordinate with Legal Advisor

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proven knowledge of US labor law
  • Working knowledge of equal employment opportunity regulations
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and spoken
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of tasks
  • Adapatable in a fast moving environment
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work
  • Able to prioritize and meet tight schedules and targets
  • Excellent proficiency in Word and Outlook
  • Master proficiency in Microsoft Excel
