Order Processing Specialist

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for administering Veeam’s software licenses. This is performing data entry into our Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) system, Salesforce.

  • Administer the software fulfillment process, including but not limited to, generating and issuing customer license keys, responding to internal and external inquiries regarding keys, file resends, etc. and ensuring all downloadable files are current
  • Maintains the CRM (Salesforce) database; performs data entry and updates license records from sales orders
  • Works with Veeam sales and renewal staff to ensure timely and accurate distribution of license keys to customers
  • Review and process inbound sales orders; confirm accuracy of pricing, products and approvals; obtain approvals or missing information
  • Validates data integrity and troubleshoot issues within Salesforce
  • Responds to customer/reseller requests for information related to the company and products, pricing, license configuration and billing
  • Perform analysis of CRM (Salesforce) data by exporting appropriate data to Excel, compiling and reporting on findings
  • Maintains working knowledge of products, order fulfillment policies and procedures, contractual agreements and basic accounting processes
  • Perform general audit of sales orders to ensure accuracy
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with software licensing and associated metrics
  • Experience with contractual, financial and procurement processes within enterprise environments
  • Must be able to complete and prioritize activities and track projects in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with contracts (i.e., reading and summarizing)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Previous customer service and support experience desired
  • Data manipulation skills with Excel required; CRM (Salesforce) and quality assurance experience desired
  • Ability to work in a semi-autonomous and fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
