  • Works closely with Veeam and Alliance teams on new and existing enablement content
  • Partner with the education team to ensure content is properly designed for all classes
  • Deliver training sessions to both internal and external audiences
  • Joins Global and Geo Alliance activities to deliver the Veeam Alliance message
  • Speak in front of larger audiences at events and trainings
  • Capture and share successes, best practices and expertise across the SE community globally
  • Attend regional meetings and events as required

  • Proven track record of doing technical sales enablement
  • Proven track record of building data protection solutions with alliance partners
  • Experience working with sales teams at HPE
  • Experience delivering training and knowledge transfers
  • Able to build partner and end user relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong presentation skills in both business and technical areas – online or in-person
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • “Team Player” spirit.
    • Bachelor in engineering, computer science or business administration or equivalent field experience
    • 6+ years as individual contributor in an engineering, solution architecture or in an equivalent role in IT industry
    • Hands on experience of data protection & disaster recovery technologies
    • Previous pre-sales or other experience interacting with a global partner or large strategic customer
    • Experience with presenting online using tools such as WebEx, GoToWebinar, or Skype Business
    • Data protection software sales experience a plus
  • Work from home office or a Veeam office.

Expected to be mobile / travelling 30% to 50% of working time.

Additional skills

  • Technical expertise with leading virtualization technologies (vSphere / Hyper-V)
  • Strong experience with core infrastructure technologies including storage, networking, and compute
  • Good understanding of general data protection rules
  • Deep knowledge about HPE products and solutions
  • Certifications with Veeam, VMware, Microsoft, HPE or other technology areas is a plus
