Director of Marketing Automation has a true passion for finding ways to engage contacts and systematically nurture those contacts to opportunities. The Director of Marketing Automation is responsible for creating exceptional automated lead nurture programs that drive engagement and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

Lead Nurturing & email marketing:

  • Work collaboratively with marketing leaders and sales team to develop email marketing campaigns that increase response rates, engagement, and drive measurable pipeline
  • Manage email campaign calendar to support email campaign needs across different business departments
  • Lead team of email marketing specialists
  • Design, assemble and execute automated nurture flows for both customers and net-new prospects, including entry and transition logic and rules, track-specific treatment considerations, and disposition (routing) of leads that re-enter an active demand state
  • Oversee the flawless execution of batch and trigger email campaigns
  • Leverage personalization and the dynamic delivery of content to modularize lead nurturing programs
  • Leverage experience with A/B and multivariate testing to continually optimize impact of campaign efforts
  • Define segmentation criteria to manage lead lists and contact groups for nurture programs

Lead management:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations leaders on definition of service-level agreements (lead definitions, lead acceptance/rejection reasons and disqualification reasons that feed into appropriate nurture streams when applicable)
  • Work closely with sales team colleagues to ensure timely follow-up on nurtured leads that (re) enter an active demand state
  • Optimize core marketing systems for lead generation by integrating automation system throughout digital marketing platforms, as well as CRM, ensuring system is fully integrated and optimized to generate, score, nurture, distribute, and report on leads
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of online marketing experience
  • People management experience - experience building, coaching and leading a team of marketing professionals
  • Marketing Automation and CRM expertise
  • Strong analytics skills
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in managing and executing B2B marketing automation system and other marketing database and analytics tools
  • Proven experience building and implementing a testing and optimization strategy to improve email, landing pages, and website performance
  • Experience driving demand for enterprise software and services
  • Demonstrated success leading B2B lead maturation campaigns
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
