Rising through the ranks

Sergey joined Veeam in the entry-level role of Inside Sales Associate in Russia supporting the German region. Now he’s our Inside Sales Manager for the country. As a successful Veeamer in our sales business, he’s shown his ambition, his ease with which he communicates and achieves great results. And, what’s more, he’s always eager to take it that one step further.

Part of Sergey’s job now is to plan and implement the business strategy. But he’s primarily responsible for team leadership. A big part of this means passing on knowledge and helping his team to grow and flourish. “Everyone in my team is different. So I treat everyone differently. I want everyone to contribute and the personal touch is everything. There’s a great atmosphere at Veeam. Everybody can ask anyone anything. It’s the Veeam culture that people share knowledge and help each other to grow.”
