I can’t bear to think of a baby or elderly person going without food or milk for a day.”

Caring through teamwork

As Alliance & Channel Marketing Manager in Singapore, Gracia threw herself into our Veeam Cares community initiatives from the moment she joined us four years ago.

Like the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) Sustenance for Families program. “This aims to help families struggling to make ends meet by providing dry rations of everyday necessities. I can’t bear to think of a baby or elderly person going without food or milk for a day. They need volunteers who will help in terms of packing basics like milk for infants, rice and canned goods. And voluntary drivers (plus their cars). And people who can help deliver these dry rations to the families in need.

The stats speak for themselves. “We had 34 volunteers playing to their strengths and clocking up 1,020 Veeam Cares hours. We raised $5,000. And we packed 260 dry rations, which would sustain the same number of families for a fortnight.”
